Airlines Checking Onward Tickets on Seoul → Cebu
When flying one-way from Seoul (ICN) to Cebu (CEB), airline check-in agents query IATA Timatic to verify entry compliance for Philippines. Because carriers face hefty fines and mandatory return-transport costs if a passenger is refused entry at CEB, one-way travelers without a residence permit or long-term visa are required to present a confirmed outbound flight reservation with a verifiable 6-character PNR code.
